Quality Manufacturing
This is a professionally manufactured 5/8 wave FM Broadcast antenna.  The antenna is manufactured to operate from 87.5 – 108 MHz which is the domestic FM broadcast band. It does have a 2 MHz bandwidth so it will have to be trimmed, but tuning instructions are included. If you are using less than 1/2 watt then you will not have to tune the antenna unless you want to peak it.
Flexible Mounting
It can be setup permanently or used for a temporary FM broadcast event, meaning that it is very light and can be easily moved. The groundplane elements can be removed in mere moments by loosening 2 bolts and the radiator can be unscrewed if necessary. This FM antenna is built to give the longest FM broadcast range possible when installed correctly. The four elements and the radiator have protective tips which allow it to be used inside. No detail has been left off this outstanding antenna.
Built for FM Broadcasting
The 5/8 wave FM broadcast transmitter antenna is the best antenna for the simple FM setup. A 5/8 wave design is superior for FM transmitting over a 1/2 wave dipole because it doesn't require a balun to reach 50 ohms. The signal is more consistent as well. A half-wave FM dipole antenna is merely a 5/8 wave FM antenna with only one groundplane element which is fine for FM reception, but not up to the standards of FM broadcasting. This FM antenna is superior to the FM dipole antennas that all cost more than this FM broadcast transmitter antenna.
Easy Installation
It can be easily mounted on a light stand, microphone stand, windsock pole, or just about any pole. It can be mounted to a horizontal crossbar or railing or to a vertical pole with the included hardware. Height is the key; mount the antenna as high as is possible for maximum range. A good shielded 50 ohm cable no less than RG8 is recommended for ultimate range.
