    Description

    The late Treffle Bolduc is considered one of the finest snowshoe makers in the world.  He had studied the trade with Canada's Mistassini Cree Indians.  His snowshoe center and museum was located on the Kancamagus Highway in Conway NH.
    I was fortunate to have visited with him and also purchase his famous snowshoes. (I am the original owner of these shoes) Bolduc's shoes have trod within 2,000 feet of Mount McKinleys summit.  This pair for sale is hand signed.
    New Hampshire Historical Society also has a signed pair of the snowshoes displayed.
    Before he was a snowshoe maker he was a concert violinist who played under Leonard Bernstein.
