    Description

    This is a Hemingray made glass block. These are the only glass blocks that are made by Hemingray.  It has the light ice green color to it and the code number '86' on it which  indicated it was used for in the Owens-Illinois glass company back in 1929 - 30's/40's.
    Three of the corners have chips. Overall, good condition for it's age.
    SIZE 5.75" x 7.75"  and weighs almost 6 pounds.  It also has the full code on it with the older Owens-Illinois glass company trademark. SEE PHOTO.
    A Hemingray made glass block will always have a "Plant 86" code on it.
    Plant 86 is what number Owens-Illinois gave to the Muncie factory after they bought it
    (86 was on the blocks and 26 on bottles).
