    OVERVIEW:
    The added strap under the runners Lat Muscles give stability to the pack while the user is in motion, letting the user jog or run as fast as they want without the pack bouncing. This reduces shock load and the feeling that the pack is interfering with the users running mechanics.

    ADJUSTING THE PACK TO FIT CORRECTLY:
    1. Place the pack on your shoulders like a normal backpack.
    2. Tighten the Shoulder Straps to comfort before buckling the Lat Straps together.
    3. Now buckle the Lat Straps together under your chest.
    4. Take a deep breath so your chest expands and then tighten the Lat Straps to a snug fit.

    Our design was tested at the
    University of Dayton as a Research Project
    for an Undergraduate Thesis Paper... The study showed a statistical significance during the comfort section of the study. The study also tested if the pack reduced the amount of oxygen used by the user while running with a set amount of weight. It showed a small reduction in oxygen consumption but not enough to show statistical significance.
