  • Condition: Used in a research setting, mostly in media prep. Glass pipets have been repeatedly washed, vigorously, in an industrial dishwasher and autoclaved. The volume-coding patch typically present is faded or absent from some pipets. The tapered tips bear the brunt of being rattled around in the sterilizing can. The pipet is not cracked or has palpably sharp spots. The sterilizing can shows some oxidation of the stainless steel due to its history of repeated harsh cleaning, especially on the larger (bottom) part, plus some tape and pen residues. Its lid and body fit together snugly; neither piece appears to be dented.
