    Description

    FASCIST ITALY 10c coin of 1939 (KM# 74)
    Italy's Fascist "10-centesimi" bronze coin
Leftover pocket-change which had become worthless when North Italy's Nazi-Fascist R.S.I. government fell in 1945.  Recently cleaned.
HISTORY:  You are purchasing original collectible/s of Victor Perantoni, as we are not buyer-resellers. All Italian Fascist and pre-Fascist era coins listed for sale on our family eBay store were in the possession of our family members when North Italy's Nazi-Fascist R.S.I. government fell in 1945 rendering the coins worthless.  The bulk of coins were leftover in the two cash-registers of our
    café
-wine bar and bottling shop in Mantua, Italy (Café al Ponte Rosso).  Also, many were the personal property (even pocket-change) contributed by family members to Victor Perantoni’s stock of unusable currencies that had been invalidated by Italy’s defeat during WWII.
Likewise, all other coins and currencies from other nations that are listed in our family eBay store had been collected by Victor Perantoni during his world-wide travels before and after WWII.  Victor was an avid collector and although his main passions were stamps and philately, he could not resist collecting coins and anything else of value, which he continued doing until his last days in 2002, when he passed away in Florida U.S.A. at age 91.
Victor never sold a single piece of his collections, all of which are gradually being listed by his sons in our family eBay store named “victorperantoni” at <
