    Description

    1968 ITALY UNCIRCULATED ROMA LA ZECCA MINT SET.
    Many of the coins of this year were only available in this 8 coin mint set, and include the hard to find 1968 R 20 Lire and 1968 R silver 500 Lire.  Provided in the original packaging by La Zecca Mint of Rome.  The previous owner of this set for some unknown reason had ripped the 500 Lire sealed plastic compartment, which has caused some tarnishing of this silver coin (see photos), but the coin edge lettering is 1968, is R mint, and in mint like state.  All other compartment are sealed.
